Sunflowers at Sawmill Springs

A cattle chute constructed of sheets of rusty metal is a subject that needs a little softness provided by Autumn sunflowers. The area south of Flagstaff Arizona, called Sawmill Springs held no evidence of a sawmill; the most prominent landmark was the chute attached to a sturdy corral. The abundance of material for photography and the promise of rain was enough to complete the experience of an afternoon in the fresh air amid the beauty of trees.
